NCBAP announces extensions for CACP certification & re-certification due to test site access & delays triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 health crisis, the NCBAP announces that extensions are granted for individuals facing examination scheduling difficulties ONLY related to the pandemic.  Please review the information below and contact the NCBAP Board only if you are unable to schedule an exam date within the extension periods defined below.

Initial Certification Examinations
All individuals who had an initial examination date scheduled from March 2020 on, are granted an extension until July 31, 2020 to re-schedule your exam.  You will not incur any additional fees from NCBAP to re-schedule.  Note, individual testing sites may have varying policies in place and if a change fee is involved, the individual bears this responsibility.

Re-certification Examinations
For individuals who were due to re-certify with any date from March-June 2020, they are granted an extension to re-certify until July 31, 2020.  For those with a re-certification date beginning in July 2020 or later, the expiration date will not be extended at this time.  Should anyone encounter difficulty finding a testing center in their respective state to meet their deadline, please contact the NCBAP directly with details and a request for an additional extension.  There will be no fees associated with exam date changes by NCBAP due to the pandemic. Note, individual testing sites may have varying policies in place and individuals are responsible for any fees incurred by the testing site.

The NCBAP grants an extension for using the credential mark “CACP’ throughout the defined extension period granted.
